Do you know that there are actually organizations that will pay you to smoke marijuana? That's right there are some organizations that are actually willing to pay you to smoke weed!

I found this out while doing some research for a client from my Grant Basics 101 blog.

There are organizations out there that are doing research study in all kinds of different areas including the subjects of marijuana, sleep depravation and the effects of drinking alcohol and / or beer! These organizations are actually willing to pay people money to volunteer for their research studies. Some of these organizations are willing to pay up to $1000 and some are willing to pay even higher than that!

Hard to believe but it's really true!
This is also good news because it will show potential advertisers that my Twitter account is worth something and it might benefit them to advertise with me.
Again, extra money comes courtesy of Sponsored Tweets is a site where you earn money by tweeting ads.

How much you will earn depends on many things, like how much you will charge advertisers, how many clicks your advertising tweets will get and how many of the other advertising tweet opportunities that you decide to take advantage of.

Like my blog title says I'm a little bit richer today because I cashed out my earnings. - By the way I should also warn you that if you belong to Sponsored Tweets and you decide to cash out before your earning are $50 or more you will be charged a $2 fee.

You can use your Paypal to cash out your earnings.Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-85600852307282901762011-05-11T15:52:00.000-04:002011-05-13T16:43:31.423-04:00I'm a little bit richer (again)

Maybe I should teach a little course on how to make money online?

I have just made another "cash-out" thanks to Sponsored Tweets.

With Sponsored Tweets you are paid to tweet ads on Twitter. You can set a price amount as to how much you want to be paid per ad and you can also tweet general ad opportunities that pay something like 2 - 10 cents per ad click.

There are a couple of rules though as to how you can do this. First you need to have 100 or more followers on Twitter (so it would help if you found some article on how to get more twitter followers).

Once you have earned $50 or more you can transfer your earnings to your Paypal account. If you earn less than $50 you can still withdraw your money but you will have to pay a $2 fee.

So it looks as though Sponsored Tweets is getting a big "thumbs up" from me!
I just got notified that I earned a little bit more money from Sponsored Tweets.

This is an online program where you earn money by tweeting ads on Twitter.

In order to sign up with Sponsored Tweets you will need to have over a hundred followers.

So far I have made about $20 using this program but I know that this is due to my number of followers and my Twitter Klout - which I hope to increase both of.

It seems that a lot of celebrity tweeters and those with a high number of followers are making quite a bit of money with this program.

It also has an affiliate program where you earn more money when you refer people to the program and they sign up with the program.

If you would like to find out more about this program then just click here.
Personally I am not a member of Neobux yet but I did come across this review.

Just in case you are interested you can read a review of the Neobux program and decide for yourself whether or not you are interested in joining this program that pays you for reading online advertisements.
I found a review of Short Tasks.com. I found it quite interesting and as I am a member of this site I found that I pretty much agreed with this review.

Short Task.com is a site where you can perform tasks like viewing someone else's blog or answer a few website questions and then you will get paid for the task(s) that you have done.

Now as I stated above I am a member of this site but so far I haven't earned anything.

One of the things that really bothers me about the "tasks" is that the pay is so very small! Very rarely will you find a task that is paying $1 or more. Most of them are offering payment of less than 50 cents. But it is interesting to see how much people are willing to pay for tasks - which I think is quite small!

I received a $50 payment from a blog sponsor and that is much more lucrative than the payment offerings of Short Task.com.

However I'll let you be the judge for yourself. You can read the review by clicking here.
I actually saw a site online where you had to make a minimum of $10,000 before you could "cash out" your money!

I kind of thought that that was ridiculous and this is certainly a site that I don't even want to take part in!Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-64104566721503501582010-09-01T17:21:00.003-04:002010-09-01T17:40:58.391-04:00I Got My First Cash Payout!

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 87px; height: 130px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ovlagiWpCW8/TH7Ea5soQQI/AAAAAAAAAZ8/ktKTWyH9Izs/s400/jumping+for+joy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5512058960391717122" />
I got my first-ever cash payout from one of the programs! (I'm jumping for joy!)

I got my first cash payout from Sponsored Tweets!

Sponsored Tweets is a program where you get paid to post advertisements on your tweets and you earn money when others click on the advertising links that you send out. Sometimes they pay less than 20 cents per click but they do add up over time.

However one of the best ways to make money with the Sponsored Tweets program is to first decide on a price that you want to be paid to tweet an advertisement on Twitter. Don't go too far with this and over-charge per tweet because you may not get any advertisers! Kim Kardashian gets $10,000 per sponsored tweet! Now maybe you can't start with this amount but as your popularity grows you can start to charge more per tweet!

Sponsored Tweets has a payout amount of $50 BUT you can withdraw your money if you have made under $50 BUT there will be a $2 surcharge that you will have to pay first that will get taken out of the money that you already have in your account. (You can get paid via Paypal.

You have to have at least 100 followers before you can take advantage of this program.

If you would like to know more about Sponsored Tweets just click here!Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-17620920264868856052010-07-29T11:30:00.002-04:002010-07-29T11:40:31.057-04:00"Get A Free Dell Laptop"

I got this email saying that I could get a free dell laptop if I simply filled out a survey.

I got curious about this figuring that this sounded too good to be true! I went to the website and - of course - they ask you for your general contact information like your name, address and phone number. But where it really bothered me was when the site asked for my social security number! That was a definite "No - No as far as I was concerned.

I investigated a little further and there is indeed a survey, several in fact that you are required to fill out. They ask you basic questions like what kinds of things are you interested in, are you having any debt or credit card problems, are you having problems paying your mortage, etc..... And depending on how you fill out your survey they will even ask you if you are interested in finding out more information about student loans and government grants!

So after I filled out about 4 or 5 different surveys the next screen said that I would be eligible to win a free dell laptop if I simply completed 2 of the offers that they had listed. The only problem with these "offers was that you were required to give credit card information - even for the supposedly free offers!

So that was where I stopped! I didn't want to take part in that "free offer".

Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-51544281422795988132010-06-28T16:02:00.003-04:002010-06-28T17:11:46.096-04:00Sponsored Tweets?

Sponsored Tweets is a site that will earn you money by having - what else - sponsored tweets! In other words if you belong to Twitter you can sign up at Sponsored Tweets and then you can start tweeting advertisements from different advertisers.

You really have to be careful about tweeting ads though because Twitter frowns about people tweeting nothing but ads and you may risk losing your Twitter account!

Another requirement is that you have a minimum number of followers! When advertisers are looking for Tweeters they will look at your Twitter numbers including the number of people that are following you. Of course the more followers you have the better!

When you sign up you can decide how much you will want to charge advertisers but be sure not to charge too high of a price because you will not attract any or little advertisers!

There are also "cost per click" advertisers where you can earn money just like the Google Adsense program - where you earn money per clicks but unlike the Adsense program the cost per click at Sponsored Tweets is relativiely low - averaging about 3 cents per click!

However I was quite surprised to find out that after posting one such advertisement I got 3 clicks right away so I see some promise with this program.

The program will pay you either by Paypal or by check.

To find out more about the Sponsored Tweets program just click here.

Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-90695075136891035242010-02-01T19:36:00.003-05:002010-02-01T19:50:44.705-05:00Hits 4 Pay? Once you join you can sign in to your account and check your email box to see if you have any email that has been sent by advertisers. Once you read the email and then check out their website you will be credited 2 cents for each email / website that you read. If you don't know what Twitter is it is sort of like a networking site where you post updates as to what you are doing. Here is my Twitter site:

http://twitter.com/Roseb44170

RevTwt lets you post ads to your <!– google_ad_section_start –>Twitter<!– google_ad_section_end –> account and when people click on it you earn money. So far the highest paid rate that I have seen for a <!– google_ad_section_start –>RevTwt<!– google_ad_section_end –> ad is about 15 cents. But you have to remember that Twitter is a popular site and the more people that click on your ads, <!– google_ad_section_start –>the more money you will earn<!– google_ad_section_end –>.

While you don't have to <!– google_ad_section_start –>a lot of Twitter followers<!– google_ad_section_end –> to join this program and place ads on your Twitter account, it helps to have as many followers as you possibly can because the more <!– google_ad_section_start –>Twitter followers<!– google_ad_section_end –> that you have the more ads and the more type of different ads you can post to both your Twitter account and your website or blog.

RevTwt also has a referral program which means that the more people that you refer to the RevTwt program <!– google_ad_section_start –>the more money you will earn<!– google_ad_section_end –>.

To find out more about the RevTwt program just click here.

I'm relatively new to this program so I really haven't earned anything yet but it is intriguing to find yet <!– google_ad_section_start –>another possible way to be able to make money online<!– google_ad_section_end –>.

I should warn you though that <!– google_ad_section_start –>Twitter<!– google_ad_section_end –> is basically a social networking site and they frown upon you posting too many ads to your Twitter update. If you post too many ads or get enough complaints from others then you risk having your Twitter account banned! So while this is a social networking site you can place some ads just don't post all ads!

Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-84690544495319579362009-12-12T15:27:00.000-05:002009-12-13T03:53:18.955-05:00MySurvey.com - My Report So Far.....

MySurvey.com is just that - a site where you take surveys. For this particular survey site you earn points which then can be redeemed as cash.

According to their site:

"you take surveys and earn "rewards" - need at least 1000 points to redeem rewards for cash - every 1000 points = $10"

I joined this survey site last month so so far I have only accumulated a couple of hundred points so far and I'll need to get at least 1000 survey points before I can redeem them for cash.

One the down side is that this survey site only pays by regular check. So that means you can only get paid by regular check. (They don't have the option so that you could get paid by Paypal.)

Here is another excerpt from their survey site:

"Redeem Points for cash, prizes or charity donations with just a few simple clicks"

One interesting thing about this survey site is that they also have a blog where you can leave comments. It's from reading the comments that I found out that this particular survey site has been around for quite some time and has only been online for a few years. According to some of the comments there seem to be quite a few people that are happy with this survey site.

They also have an affiliate program where you can also get paid for referring other people to the program. However with their affiliate program you have to be able to refer at least 10 people per month.

If you are interested in joining their affiliate program then you can click here for more information.

So far my opinion of this survey site isn't too good. It may be different for you however. It seems that there are a lot of surveys to be taken just to be able to get to the minimum amount of survey points needed to even get paid.

I also don't like the fact that for their affiliate program you have to be able to refer at least 10 people per month. At least with some of the other survey sites that I belong to there isn't a minimum amount of referrals that you have to maintain.

But I'll keep with it and see how it goes.

Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-64661496195271145002009-12-11T15:25:00.000-05:002009-12-12T03:46:21.287-05:00Hits4Pay - My Report!

So far Hits4Pay is my most profitable "paid to read email" site so far!

At "Hits4Pay" you sign up and you get paid to read advertising that shows up in your Hits4Pay mailbox. You get paid 2 cents for each email that you read. You have to click on the advertiser's email web link in order to be credited with the 2 cents.

At the time I signed up there was a $10 sign up bonus so you could still be eligible for that if you sign up with the program now.

Reading these emails is a time consuming thing - at least for me it is! However if you are looking for some income doing something that is part time then this may be the site for you.

You have to sign in to your Hits4Pay account at least once every six months or your Hits4Pay account will be deactivated!

Hits4Pay also has an affiliate program - that is you get paid when others sign up for the Hits4Pay program under your affiliate number. When others sign up with your affiliate number then you earn even more money with the Hits4Pay program.

Since I started with this "paid to read" email site I have earned pretty much around $12 with the program.

When do you get paid?

In order to be eligible for payment, you must submit a valid W-9 tax form, make sure your Hits4Pay account includes your PayPal address, and reach the minimum balance of $25.00.

Once your account balance reaches $25.00 or more, it will be "zeroed out" on the 1st of the following month to pay out your commissions. That means your Hits4Pay account will show a $0.00 balance at this time.

If your account has been "zeroed out", your commissions will be transferred to your PayPal account on or around the 15th of that month!

I already have one person who signed up under my affiliate number and that increases the amount that I am earning.

Now $12 may not seem like much but you have to remember that the more paid emails that you read, the more money you will make! Plus if you get people to sign up under your affiliate number then you will earn even more money!

If you would like to give Hits4Pay a try just click here.

I still have a ways to go before I hit that $25 minimum!

Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-45457459952759658422009-11-16T04:28:00.000-05:002009-11-26T04:48:00.516-05:00It's Getting A Little Better!

It seems one of the sites that I belong to which has to do with reading emails is getting to be a little bit more profitable!

It seems that someone signed up using my referral link and now I earned a small (a few cents) commission when they read one of their own "paid to read email" messages!

It's just a few pennies but I see where this referred person is starting to read a lot of their paid emails and my (small) commission is adding up!

Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-20057595111548784542009-11-10T15:27:00.000-05:002009-11-26T03:35:30.472-05:00Free Gift Card Offers Not So Free!

One of the things that is bothering me about some of these so-called free gift card offers is that one of the requirements to get them is that they want you to give them credit card information. This is something that I really don't agree with and so far when I get these kinds of sponsored emails from the paid survey sites that I belong to (so far) I don't apply for them. I go on to something else. However you may feel differently about this when considering the kind of sponsored emails that you choose to participate in.

Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-39551232484310389112009-11-08T18:31:00.002-05:002009-11-08T18:50:34.864-05:00I Joined Another Paid Survey-Like Site!

I saw this site recommended from someone else's blog. It got high reviews so I decided to join this site as well. I found out some interesting information about how you go about joining this particular survey site.

While signing up for it doesn't seem to be too difficult, in order to qualify and join the program you have to first click on one of their offers. Now this shouldn't sound so bad but so far all of these offers require you to either order something or give them your credit card number! It also seems that more than a few of these offers are for video clubs - sort of comparable to places like Netflix and the like. There was even an offer to join one of Yahoo's sites but even for that free membership you have to give them a valid credit card number. Some of the offers even included signing up for getting a new credit card! Other offers include signing up for magazine and newspaper subscriptions.

The bottom line is that this particular site does not look too appealing! And now I'm still wondering if it is all worth it?

Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-62147067169035332312009-11-03T21:14:00.002-05:002009-11-03T21:25:55.566-05:00I'm Really Getting Disallusioned With These "Paid" Sites!

Maybe its just me but I'm getting the feeling that these paid for survey sites are just not what they are all cracked up to be!

But - hey - like I said - maybe its just me!

I'm currently going through some of my "paid for reading email" sites and it just seems like one has to go through so much just to earn a couple of cents for reading emails.

The latest email that I am reading is an advertisement for government auctions. Now as someone that does grant research, I know that there are government auctions where one can purchase properties at lesser price. And with the way that the economy is now there are even more houses for sale because of foreclosures and tax auctions and the like.

The email I'm reading now is for a company that seems to sell listings for properties at government auctions. While you should be able to find this information both online and offline for yourself, this company seems to have found a way to make it easier for you to get a listing of properties being offered for sale at government auctions.

So I read this piece of email and go to their website and I earn a few cents for doing so. Unfortunately what this company does not know is that I do grant research and I already know where to find this kind of information for myself but that doesn't mean that everybody who chooses to read their email / advertisement is in the same kind of business and I'm assuming that they are hoping to get more clients this way.

I guess there are more worse things that you could do with your time to earn money online and I still haven't made a final decision as to whether or not I still like going through this kind of effort to make a few cents online. So I'm still keeping an open mind about it.

Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969184565396027802.post-47970686291987118602009-10-15T21:56:00.003-04:002009-10-15T22:10:41.340-04:00You Could Win $100 Just By Answering A Quiz Question!

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 105px; height: 121px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ovlagiWpCW8/StfVGrsiR9I/AAAAAAAAASk/yYomXAzG-Os/s400/geography.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5393013389584910290" /> Not only are their sites that pay you money for answering surveys, there are other sites out there that will pay money for other things as well!

I have just found a site that will pay you $100 if you answer their geography question correctly!

At last count, I have counted that they have had over 100 previous winners so far! At least in my opinion!

Maybe its because I am new to this "paid survey" thing!

I just found another site that offers to pay people for doing things like writing blog post articles, commenting on articles and even writing articles on different forums. It seemed like an interesting concept at first but when I looked more closer these people that were offering the work were paying something like 8 cents per successful written article, etc.....I really think that that is kind of cheap but I also know that they may find people desperate enough to want to make money online that they will settle for whatever pay is offered them - even if it is only a few cents!

I'm still looking at other sites that say they can help people make money. I'm looking at them one by one so that I can be sure about them before I post about them here.

Honestly I think that there has just got to be a better way to earn money online that having to settle for a few pennies. Although I will admit that sometime the Adsense ads that appear only pay a few cents per ad but those few cents do add up to something significant - so maybe the same thing is true for these kinds of sites that oofer people ways to be able to make money online!

I still go by the advice that you will earn more money doing something you love, which is what I talk about in my Working From Home Blog, but I'm still curious to find out more about other ways that people are able to earn money online and while working at home.

Rosehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07718681158885022825noreply@blogger.com0
