MySurvey.com - My Report So Far.....

MySurvey.com is just that - a site where you take surveys. For this particular survey site you earn points which then can be redeemed as cash.

According to their site:

"you take surveys and earn "rewards" - need at least 1000 points to redeem rewards for cash - every 1000 points = $10"

I joined this survey site last month so so far I have only accumulated a couple of hundred points so far and I'll need to get at least 1000 survey points before I can redeem them for cash.

One the down side is that this survey site only pays by regular check. So that means you can only get paid by regular check. (They don't have the option so that you could get paid by Paypal.)

Here is another excerpt from their survey site:

"Redeem Points for cash, prizes or charity donations with just a few simple clicks"

One interesting thing about this survey site is that they also have a blog where you can leave comments. It's from reading the comments that I found out that this particular survey site has been around for quite some time and has only been online for a few years. According to some of the comments there seem to be quite a few people that are happy with this survey site.

They also have an affiliate program where you can also get paid for referring other people to the program. However with their affiliate program you have to be able to refer at least 10 people per month.

If you are interested in joining their affiliate program then you can click here for more information.

So far my opinion of this survey site isn't too good. It may be different for you however. It seems that there are a lot of surveys to be taken just to be able to get to the minimum amount of survey points needed to even get paid.

I also don't like the fact that for their affiliate program you have to be able to refer at least 10 people per month. At least with some of the other survey sites that I belong to there isn't a minimum amount of referrals that you have to maintain.

But I'll keep with it and see how it goes.

Hits4Pay - My Report!

So far Hits4Pay is my most profitable "paid to read email" site so far!

At "Hits4Pay" you sign up and you get paid to read advertising that shows up in your Hits4Pay mailbox. You get paid 2 cents for each email that you read. You have to click on the advertiser's email web link in order to be credited with the 2 cents.

At the time I signed up there was a $10 sign up bonus so you could still be eligible for that if you sign up with the program now.

Reading these emails is a time consuming thing - at least for me it is! However if you are looking for some income doing something that is part time then this may be the site for you.

You have to sign in to your Hits4Pay account at least once every six months or your Hits4Pay account will be deactivated!

Hits4Pay also has an affiliate program - that is you get paid when others sign up for the Hits4Pay program under your affiliate number. When others sign up with your affiliate number then you earn even more money with the Hits4Pay program.

Since I started with this "paid to read" email site I have earned pretty much around $12 with the program.

When do you get paid?

In order to be eligible for payment, you must submit a valid W-9 tax form, make sure your Hits4Pay account includes your PayPal address, and reach the minimum balance of $25.00.

Once your account balance reaches $25.00 or more, it will be "zeroed out" on the 1st of the following month to pay out your commissions. That means your Hits4Pay account will show a $0.00 balance at this time.

If your account has been "zeroed out", your commissions will be transferred to your PayPal account on or around the 15th of that month!

I already have one person who signed up under my affiliate number and that increases the amount that I am earning.

Now $12 may not seem like much but you have to remember that the more paid emails that you read, the more money you will make! Plus if you get people to sign up under your affiliate number then you will earn even more money!

If you would like to give Hits4Pay a try just click here.

I still have a ways to go before I hit that $25 minimum!

It's Getting A Little Better!

It seems one of the sites that I belong to which has to do with reading emails is getting to be a little bit more profitable!

It seems that someone signed up using my referral link and now I earned a small (a few cents) commission when they read one of their own "paid to read email" messages!

It's just a few pennies but I see where this referred person is starting to read a lot of their paid emails and my (small) commission is adding up!

Free Gift Card Offers Not So Free!

One of the things that is bothering me about some of these so-called free gift card offers is that one of the requirements to get them is that they want you to give them credit card information. This is something that I really don't agree with and so far when I get these kinds of sponsored emails from the paid survey sites that I belong to (so far) I don't apply for them. I go on to something else. However you may feel differently about this when considering the kind of sponsored emails that you choose to participate in.

I Joined Another Paid Survey-Like Site!

I saw this site recommended from someone else's blog. It got high reviews so I decided to join this site as well. I found out some interesting information about how you go about joining this particular survey site.

While signing up for it doesn't seem to be too difficult, in order to qualify and join the program you have to first click on one of their offers. Now this shouldn't sound so bad but so far all of these offers require you to either order something or give them your credit card number! It also seems that more than a few of these offers are for video clubs - sort of comparable to places like Netflix and the like. There was even an offer to join one of Yahoo's sites but even for that free membership you have to give them a valid credit card number. Some of the offers even included signing up for getting a new credit card! Other offers include signing up for magazine and newspaper subscriptions.

The bottom line is that this particular site does not look too appealing! And now I'm still wondering if it is all worth it?

I'm Really Getting Disallusioned With These "Paid" Sites!

Maybe its just me but I'm getting the feeling that these paid for survey sites are just not what they are all cracked up to be!

But - hey - like I said - maybe its just me!

I'm currently going through some of my "paid for reading email" sites and it just seems like one has to go through so much just to earn a couple of cents for reading emails.

The latest email that I am reading is an advertisement for government auctions. Now as someone that does grant research, I know that there are government auctions where one can purchase properties at lesser price. And with the way that the economy is now there are even more houses for sale because of foreclosures and tax auctions and the like.

The email I'm reading now is for a company that seems to sell listings for properties at government auctions. While you should be able to find this information both online and offline for yourself, this company seems to have found a way to make it easier for you to get a listing of properties being offered for sale at government auctions.

So I read this piece of email and go to their website and I earn a few cents for doing so. Unfortunately what this company does not know is that I do grant research and I already know where to find this kind of information for myself but that doesn't mean that everybody who chooses to read their email / advertisement is in the same kind of business and I'm assuming that they are hoping to get more clients this way.

I guess there are more worse things that you could do with your time to earn money online and I still haven't made a final decision as to whether or not I still like going through this kind of effort to make a few cents online. So I'm still keeping an open mind about it.

You Could Win $100 Just By Answering A Quiz Question!

Not only are their sites that pay you money for answering surveys, there are other sites out there that will pay money for other things as well!

I have just found a site that will pay you $100 if you answer their geography question correctly!

At last count, I have counted that they have had over 100 previous winners so far! Now remember this is a $100 per quiz, per correct answer - so this means that this site has given away over $1000 in money so far!

If you would like the url to this website, just send me a $5 donation and include your email with the donation and I will send the link to you.

A Word Of Advice!

From what I have been reading online about doing paid surveys, one of the pieces of advice is to NOT pay to join!

So far all of the paid survey sites that I belong to, I haven't paid one single cent to join any of them!

Hits4Pay!

Hits4Pay is another paid surveys site that comes highly recommended.

Basically the first thing that you have to do is signup with them first - you will be given a $10 signup bonus.

From what I can tell, Hits4Pay will pay you 2 cents everytime you view the emails that appear in your Hits4Pay inbox - but remember you have to click on the link provided in those emails before you are credited with the 2 cents!

You also make money when you refer other people to the site - I don't know the specific details of how much you earn for this yet.

Before you can get paid (via Paypal) you have to fill out a W-9 form for tax purposes and in that respect that means that you will also have to give them your social security number!

You do get to cash out until your account reaches $25!

So far I have been with Hits4Pay for about a month now and so far I'm still at the $10 signup amount - mostly because I haven't really given this one a spin yet - but I will keep letting you know about my progress here.

Maybe It's Just Me But......

a lot of these sites are really paying peanuts! At least in my opinion!

Maybe its because I am new to this "paid survey" thing!

I just found another site that offers to pay people for doing things like writing blog post articles, commenting on articles and even writing articles on different forums. It seemed like an interesting concept at first but when I looked more closer these people that were offering the work were paying something like 8 cents per successful written article, etc.....I really think that that is kind of cheap but I also know that they may find people desperate enough to want to make money online that they will settle for whatever pay is offered them - even if it is only a few cents!

I'm still looking at other sites that say they can help people make money. I'm looking at them one by one so that I can be sure about them before I post about them here.

Honestly I think that there has just got to be a better way to earn money online that having to settle for a few pennies. Although I will admit that sometime the Adsense ads that appear only pay a few cents per ad but those few cents do add up to something significant - so maybe the same thing is true for these kinds of sites that oofer people ways to be able to make money online!

I still go by the advice that you will earn more money doing something you love, which is what I talk about in my Working From Home Blog, but I'm still curious to find out more about other ways that people are able to earn money online and while working at home.

FusionCash

This is the very first paid surveys site that I signed up for basically because it came highly recommended as being on of the more legitimate paid survey sites.

At the time that I signed up they offered a $5 signup bonus that would be put directly into your account. Please bear in mind though that you have to earn at least $25 before you can cash out your earnings!

Once I joined I started receiving a lot of emails from different companies and I honestly have to say that I will have to go through them one by one to find the ones that I want to answer back.

Some of the offers require that you give them your credit card information - and these are the ones that I refuse to participate in - however you might feel differently.

The first offer that I participated in was from a company that wanted me to view one of their videos - which I did and I received a $1 credit for it.

Another offer that I did was to answer a survey online and I got a $2 credit for that.

Some of the rest of the offers I didn't participate in because they asked for either a credit card number or an address and sometimes they would ask for both - those I didn't participate in.

So since I have just started I'm working my way to at least the $25 limit by participating in only the offers that I feel comfortable with.

To find out more about FusionCash and to decide whether or not you would like to join it, just click the link below.

So far with the exception of all the email that I am getting, I don't seem to be
having any other problems with FusionCash yet.

Sign Up Bonuses?

Well I guess you can call me naive but I thought that when I saw some of the signup bonuses that these kinds of sites were offering I thought that they would be deposited directly into one's Paypal account but I was wrong.

It seems that when you get a signup bonus that money is added to your account. You don't get the money right away!

Getting your money from these sites after you have been credited could take as much as one month.

Company - Seattle Coffee Direct

Unfortunately this is one of the companies that asks you for your credit card information! In this case you have to order one of their products in order to be credited to your paid survey account.

Like I said before, I am very wary of giving out my credit card information to a company so I have decided to bypass this particular company.

However if you have no qualms about giving them your credit card information, then you can take their survey by clicking here, selecting one of the free gifts and then you should be taken to the next page which will have the offer from the above mentioned coffee company.

Another Way To Earn Money With Paid Surveys Is.....

Another way to make money with Paid Surveys is to refer other people to the site(s) - that way YOU earn money by being a referral.

After you join you are given a referral number and you use that as a link so that when others go to the site and decide to join, your referral number will get credited and you will be able to earn even more money!

Thumbs Down!

One of the things that I don't like about these paid surveys is that they will ask you for your credit card information! This is a big "red flag" for me!

So far I have only had 1 bad experience with a company charging on my credit card and then not delivering what they were supposed to! (I haven't decided yet whether or not I'm going to tell you the name of the company yet).

So for right now I am definitely not going to answer a survey from a company that wants my credit card information!

A Paid Surveys Newbie! - That Is What I Am!

I have a Working From Home Blog and the subject of Paid Surveys has come up a lot!

I have seen lots of these paid survey sites all over the internet and I have also seen comments from those that have taken part in them and I have seen one or two examples from others who have made quite a bit of money from them - something like in the thousands of dollars!

Paid Surveys are sites that offer you money, products, credits and free samples when you take part in answering questions or trying samples or ordering products from different companies. The reasoning behind this is that the companies are always interested in what consumers have to say and they are willing to pay for it.

Finally, after seeing someone post that they have made over $6,000 taking paid surveys I have decided to check it out!

As a newbie at this you can follow my journey to see if this is a legitimate and profitable way to be able to make money at home.
